This season, we held the second “Matsuda Cherry Blossom Festival” tour on February 22nd.

Our guests, who had arrived in Japan from Iceland the day before, were deeply moved by seeing cherry blossoms for the first time.

This time, in addition to the cherry blossom festival, we also held a Japanese sweets making experience.

We welcomed Mr. Umezono, a Japanese sweets instructor, who taught us how to make cherry blossom and plum nerikiri, as well as mandarin daifuku using Matsuda's mandarins.

Finally, our international guests prepared matcha tea.

The Japanese sweets they made themselves and the matcha tea seemed to have a special taste.

今季、第2回目の「まつだ桜まつり」ツアーを2/22に開催いたしました。

アイスランドから前日に日本に到着されたお客様は、初めて見る桜に感動されていました。

今回は、桜まつりに加えて和菓子作り体験も行いました。
講師には和菓子の梅園さんをお迎えし、桜と梅の練り切りや、松田のミカンを使ったミカン大福の作り方を教えていただきました。
最後に、外国人の皆さまには抹茶を点てていただきました。
初めて自分で作った和菓子と抹茶は、格別の味だったようです。
