【Report】Matsuda town International Cafe ①Iceland

 

 

This time, Einar, an exchange student from Iceland, gave us a wonderful introduction to his home country!

The Icelandic language sounded incredibly cool, and during the pronunciation session, we had fun trying to pronounce sounds that don’t exist in Japanese. 

It was a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the event.

We learned that the Northern Lights are frequently visible in Iceland, and on clear nights, he has even seen them from home!

Hearing this made Iceland, which had always felt so far away, seem much closer. It also made us want to visit even more.

At the end of the event, we got a preview of our upcoming Brazilian Cooking Class by learning about Brazilian cuisine while tasting Brazilian coconut cake.

初めての国際交流カフェを開催しました！

今回は、アイスランド出身の留学生・エイナーさんに、アイスランドについてお話しいただきました！

アイスランド語の発音はとてもかっこよく、発音レクチャーでは日本にはない音に苦戦しながらも楽しく学ぶことができ、終始和やかな雰囲気に包まれました。

アイスランドではオーロラがよく見え、天気が良い時は家からも見えるとのこと！

これまで遠い存在だったアイスランドをぐっと身近に感じることができ、ますます訪れてみたくなりました。

最後には、今後開催予定のブラジル料理教室に向けて、ブラジル料理について学びながら、ブラジルのココナッツケーキも味わいました。
