Nishihirabatake Park
Matsuda Herb Hall
The white bilding in the middle of Matsuda mountain is symbol of Matsuda town. Inside the bilding, there are a restaurant at second floor and a souvenior shop at first floor. Further more, you can enjoy handcrafts (dried flower making) and Herb tea lessons (booking required).
Matsuda Herb Garden
Variety of herb are cultivated thorough a year and you can enjoy flowers of every four seasons. This garden placed the top of the Matsuda mountain so you'll see the beautiful landscape of Sagami river and whole matsuda town.
Kids Playing Hall
Are you looking for a place to play with your kids? Here in Kids playing hall, they can experience good-old Japanese games and fun activities that you hardly see in this modern life. At second floor, there's a exhibition of toys and traditional dolls. We often held some family-friendly events.
Old Railway
Two types of Shay locomotive "Mini SL" and Odakyu electric train "Mini romancecar" are running around the Matsuda mountain daily. 1/6 sized train compared to the real one. *Ticket required (Adult 300yen, Child 200yen)
Natural Hall
As "See, touch, make and enjoy", the facility is for feeling nature of Matsuda. Why don't you try making handcrafts used nuts and nature observation?
Cherry Blossom Festival (Feb, Mar)
With around 360 kawazu cherry trees and blossoming nanohana (Japanese canola), Mount Matsuda comes alive with beautiful pink color in early spring. During the height of the blossom season, the trees are illuminated at night.
